9:57 am	Ellen is 18 months old! I am finally 18! Old enough to attend school! But Julia Gabriel does not have a slot for me for Bilingual Playclub, even though I have been on the waiting list since a long time ago! They called Mummy up when I was just 17 months, and offered a slot, which was gone in barely 2 days.... sigh.... Mummy knows they are rather disorganised and there has not been much improvement over the last 2 years since Ian started attending. I can hardly speak now, so Mummy hopes that attending some speech and drama classes will prompt me to speak more. Current Mood: awake (Comment on this)

2:38 pm	Now that ELlen has grown up quite a bit, she really enjoys doing stuff with me.... sometimes I don't enjoy her company... she always messes up my toys! Ellen loves pulling clothes out of the cupboard!! Just for records, Mummy says I am improving in my colouring... I try hard to stay within the lines la... 11:35 am	We are going on a holiday!! The school holidays are still some time away, but Mummy's already planning a getaway! Actually, it's Grandma and Grandpa who want to "get away" from us! =P Where are we going? Mummy doesn't play golf... I suspect she's there to pig out cos she's so concerned abt having food available all the time we are there! =P Anyone been there before? Any advice? Current Mood: excited (Comment on this)

11:00 am	My progress I am 15 months old now! Besides eating more, and faster, than Ian did, everything else about me is slower than him, Mummy says.... oh, my temper is quicker too! I am now starting to walk about 3 steps on my own... but I'm still pretty scaredy and always plop down on my bum ASAP. I think we are going to dump the walker very soon! =) I can't speak much, everything is "ma ma" to me... hehehe... but I know the difference between Mummy and cats! I weigh only 8.2kg now, due partly to my poor milk intake. Mummy's not been able to express at work and I don't take well to the bottle still, so most times, I only latch when she's at home. I still want to be fed to sleep... hiaks... During the 6 weeks when Yee Yee was back from Australia, we had great fun exploring her room everyday, and she's pretty good at babysitting me, I must say! =P *grin* She's just gone back again, and we're all looking forward to her return in 3 months! 9:26 am	Progress I am 14.5 months old now... Mummy hasn't really had the time to watch me grow and develop. Whenever she's home, I just want to cling to her and breastfeed ... yah, I'm a sucker right.... =P Anyway, I am cruising my way around the house now... still no crawling.. and I can stand for about 3 secs without support. I'm really scaredy... I don't dare to stand longer than that. =) I know that I am really slow compared to Ian but Mummy says nothing can be done. I just love being carried far too much... hehehe... I have only said "ma ma" so far... and I use that to refer to everything. Err... Mummy, mao mao (cat), mum mum, ... they all sound the same to me. =P I think they are still waiting for me to call Papa. I love music much more than Ian! I dance and jive to music more than he did/ does! =) Always makes the adults laugh when they see me move my little body... hahaha. =) And it's amazing just how well I understand their instructions now... "not to hit Ian", "not to pull the magazines from under the table", "not to open the TV cabinet", "not to spit saliva".... u get my drift.... 6:16 am	I almost died...... Mummy brought Ellen and I out for grocery shopping at Tampines Giant yesterday. On our way back, she thought I would be happy to eat my goat milk sweets.... so I happily took them.... until she very SUDDENLY reversed into the parking lot at Bedok Grandma's house. I choked on my 4th sweet and went "AAAAh, Ah, AH!" Mummy jumped out of her seat, freed me from my car seat and did the Heimlich manoeuvre on me.... fortunately I managed to cough that sweet out.... I was really stunned.... Mummy too. Lesson to Mummy - do not drive so jerkily!! Current Mood: scared (3 Comments |Comment on this)

11:18 am	My 3rd birthday! I requested for a durian cake for my birthday. Made the adults get it for me... hehehe... from GWP of course! Went to catch Dora in action at the Forum too! I think Ellen's hair style looks like Dora's! And Ellen loves Dora! =) Pity Mummy had to work so we couldn't really celebrate... she missed the cake cutting.... pictures later. 10:00 pm	NAVY OPEN HOUSE 2007 Mummy heard from one of her patients who was a Naval Officer that the Open House was on this weekend, so off we went to take a look. We waited almost 2 hours to take the bus there! It was so damn hot! I really enjoyed myself looking at all the ships, missiles, torpedos, and colourful displays! We even went on board a patrol vessel! I loved the controls! Mummy was so tired by the time we got home at 5pm, and she had to do a night shift that Sunday night! =P Current Mood: crazy (6 Comments |Comment on this)

11:01 am	East Coast Park Went to the beach last week to bask in the sun. Well, at least Ian enjoyed the sun. I stayed in the shade, happily sitting in our new lime green MacLaren Volo, from Tangs sale! =) It was pretty hot. So it was good to enjoy some cake at McCafe after that... yum! 10:39 am	End of Term Yesterday was my last day at school, well, for this term at least. =) I brought home a really THICK progress report... will get Mummy to post pictures later. =) School has been fun and I think I will stay here for the rest of the year. I woke up at 7.30am to get ready for school and Grandma brought me back to the bed... hahaha... now I get to sleep in. =) Yee Yee is coming back next week, I heard! Yippee!!!
